Thank you so much for your support of the Childless. I’ve already gotten submissions, and the hype is growing with each day. I wasn’t planning on posting until later in the month, but today, the Ringo Awards opened their submission process!
What does that mean?
The Ringo Awards are prestigious comic book awards that have the unique aspect of allowing readers to nominate their favorite books and creators. Yes, each one of you can help me achieve a nomination for the awards!
How!?
You need to head to ringoawards.com, click on the big blue button that says “Click Here to Nominate your Favorites”, enter your email, and enter my work in the following categories:
Best Writer: Oscar Osorio - A Never-Ending Adventure, Tales from the New World, Face Their Fears #1
Best Artist: David Escobar - Face Their Fears #1
Best Letterer: Leo McGovern - Face Their Fears #1
Best Cover Artist: Francesca Fantini - Don’t Push the Red Button
Best Single Issue or Story: A Never-Ending Adventure
Best Anthology: Tales from the New World
Favorite New Series: Face Their Fears
Favorite New Talent: Oscar Osorio - A Never-Ending Adventure, Don’t Push the Red Button, Tales from the New World, Face Their Fears #1
Then, submit it, confirm your email, and that’s it! It’s very important that you check the email they send and verify it’s yours!
By following these simple steps, you can help me achieve a dream! How wild would it be for a Peruvian, self-published creator to get a nomination at one of the most prestigious awards in the US!? I can only imagine, and I will work hard to make it a reality!
